About Me
My Story
In the summer of 2018 I suffered a life changing concussion. Things like meaningful sight, speech, balance, etc came and went along with a slew of other symptoms. I stumbled through the darkness (sometimes quite literally). Over time I found handles, skills, frameworks, practices, and models to communicate my experience to the team that was trying to help me. They shared with me the latest models and recommendations to help me squeeze out more results from the effort I was able to put in.
While there is no actual treatment for an uncomplicated concussion at this time, improvement can be obtained with systematic and radical self care.
Over time, I saw the similarities and overlap between mtbi (post concussive syndrome), autism spectrum disorder, PTSD/CPTSD, ADHD, and related neuro-divergent states. While the incidence of having any neuro-divergent condition may be rare, when combined, the likelihood that this touches a person, either themselves, or someone close to them, it somewhat common, even if a person doesn’t realize who is ND, or how.
